Our
Story
Not My Cat Sanctuary started with a simple act of kindness — feeding a scruffy cat who wasn’t “ours.” Then came another, and another. Before we knew it, our porch was a gathering place for the neighborhood’s most mysterious and misunderstood felines.
What began as a joke — “That’s not my cat!” — turned into a mission: to create a safe haven for the cats no one else would claim. Over time, that one bowl of food turned into a sanctuary built on compassion, community, and a deep respect for every whiskered wanderer who shows up needing care. Today, we provide a forever home for those who can’t be adopted and a second chance for those who can — because here, every cat belongs, even if they started out as not ours.

Our Initiatives
Trap-Neuter-Release Programs
Our Trap-Neuter-Release programs focus on controlling the feral cat population in Fresno County by providing spaying/neutering services and returning cats to their colonies
Adoption and Foster Programs
Through our adoption and foster programs, we aim to find loving forever homes for feral cats and provide temporary shelter and care through our dedicated foster network.
Educational Outreach
Educating the community on feral cat management is our key to our mission. Our outreach programs raise awareness about responsible cat care and population control.
Donation Drives
Join us in fundraising through our store and donation drives to support our efforts in providing medical care, spaying/neutering, fostering, and adoption services.
Community Support
We work closely with local communities to address feral cat issues, provide resources, and offer assistance in managing and caring for feral cat colonies.
